Nurses are saluted across the United States.

On May 6, 2010, Crittenden Regional Hospital joined the American Nurses Association in celebrating Nurses: Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow, as part of National Nurses Week, held annually May 6-12. The purpose of Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow is to raise awareness about the value of nursing and to help educate the public about the nurses’ role in meeting our Nation’s health care needs.
Each year CRH recognizes nursing staff members who have provided exemplary care throughout the year. The winners for 2010 are: Francis Berdul, RN – Registered Nurse of the Year; Kerry Miller, LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse of the Year; Janet Stokes – Patient Care Assistant of the Year; and Debra Tyler – Unit Secretary of the Year.
