Dr. Robert Chin to speak at Friday's Lunch & Learn

In recognition of Women’s Health month, Dr. Robert Chin will host an informational seminar on the addition of a Doula to the maternity-care team.
Doula—from the ancient Greek—means “a woman who serves.” Today, the term refers to trained and experienced professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and after childbirth.
On May 21, 2010, from noon until 1:00 p.m., Dr. Chin, with a panel of previous clients and maternity professionals, will discuss the Doula’s role in a hospital setting.
A free, light lunch will be served to those with advance reservations.
